Make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people in your local area

When we say ‘rewarding’ at AS Care, we’re not talking about money…

As a community support worker, you will make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people in your local area, giving them the support they need to live independently in their own homes – something that is invaluable to them and to us.

How do we reward our staff?

We believe that recognition of a job well done is the key to a happy workforce and this is vital to our long-term success.

We reward our employees generously for the work they do supporting our service users. With competitive rates of pay and a robust training programme (plus extra training when needed), we’ve become one of the best and largest care providers in our area.

What type of person do we want to join us?

Experience of working in care is not essential to work for us: we will provide all the training you need to become a valuable member of our team. What’s important to us is a warm personality and a genuine passion for people; after all, we are a people business.

Working with AS Care means you’ll also benefit from a flexible work lifestyle, an incredibly supportive environment and the opportunity to work for a company that truly values you and your hard work.

With services growing across the region, we have plenty of exciting roles available across Leeds, Wakefield and Bradford.

Mentor Programme

Starting any new role can be quite an anxious time, there is lots of new information to absorb, what peoples care needs are, where they live, what your responsibilities are, the more you think about it, the longer the list gets.

To help our new employees, everyone is allocated a Mentor to support them in their new role. Any questions or further support required there is always a member of the team that is more than happy to help to ensure that our care team in the community feel safe, supported and confident to carry out their role as a community support worker.

Thank you to all the carers involved in looking after my husband throughout 2022. We shall never forget the kindness shown to him by all the staff. There are too many names to mention, I hope they will know who they are and realise what a difference they made not only to my husband’s life but also the wellbeing of the whole family.

We would like to praise the carers that have been seeing our Mum. We think that AS Care is great and every single carer that’s supported mum have been amazing.

We would like to praise one carer in particular. Unfortunately there were some unexpected events with my Mum and he collaborated with myself and went the extra mile to support this gentleman. Additionally I praise the management in the office – I always appreciate your input and support.

The carers have always given 100% care to my husband. All staff that have been in the property have been outstanding.

I would like to say a big thank you to all carers at AS Care especially to one carer in particular and for all she does for my brother. We appreciate and are thankful to all carers and for all they do for him.
